About Jennifer Kehl

As a lifelong resident of Hamilton County, I have seen tremendous change and growth occur in our community and our county. I have lived in Fishers since 1983. I have been honored to serve in the role as the Fishers City Clerk for the past 4 years and if I am re-elected, I will continue to work hard for the citizens of Fishers. I have always had a real commitment to the Fishers community and will continue to strive to make Fishers “The Best” place to live, work and play.

Fishers has been a wonderful place to raise our family. I have never desired to live anywhere else. I am married to George Kehl, retired Fishers Chief of Police of 38 years and continues to work for the city.  George and I have two sons. I am proud to say our eldest son Greg (34) has followed in his father’s footsteps and is a Sergeant on the Noblesville Police Department. Greg is married to his wife Kayla.  Greg and Kayla have two children, Waylon and Kloey. Geoffrey our youngest (30) son is on the autism spectrum and lives with us.  I have strong family values and enjoy spending time with my family and friends.

“I truly believe you must invest in your community for it to be successful.”

I truly believe you must invest in your community for it to be successful. I have always taken pride in the communities I have resided and have been volunteering since I was a Girl Scout. Since moving to Fishers, I have spent over 30 years volunteering in my community. I have devoted time to the Fishers Police Departments programs, Hamilton County Fraternal Order of Police Lodge’s programs, Habitat for Humanity, and Good Samaritan to name a few.  I was part of the scouting program for over 10 years.  I am most known for my 29 years of service to the Fishers Freedom Festival and served as the Executive Director for 25.

The Kehl family as a whole are true public servants providing a combined total of over 250 years of service to their community for the last 40 years.

I firmly believe that Fishers’ best days are yet to come. For our city to reach its potential, we must work together to ensure that we are transparent, as efficient and effective as possible so Fishers can continue to be one of the Best Places to live in America.  If re-elected I will continue to try and make a difference and work hard for the citizens of Fishers. Please vote for me, Jennifer Kehl, a Community Focused, Experienced and Dedicated candidate.
